Clinical Lead – Vocational Rehabilitation
Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of integrated health services, is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead in Vocational Rehabilitation to join their Wellington-based team.

About the Role:
As Clinical Lead, you’ll provide expert clinical support, mentoring, and oversight across vocational rehabilitation services, while managing a reduced clinical caseload.
You’ll work closely with Team Leads and Regional Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery, contract compliance, and positive outcomes for clients on their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and second opinions to practitioners
– Deliver high-quality client services aligned with KPIs and contract requirements
– Mentor and support clinical staff in their professional development
– Monitor service delivery, clinical outcomes, and performance metrics
– Liaise with stakeholders including ACC, insurers, and private sector clients
– Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff
– Contribute to regional leadership and decision-making
About You:
– Registered health professional with current APC (e.g. Physiotherapist, OT, Psychologist, Rehab Specialist)
– 5+ years’ clinical experience in rehabilitation or a related field
– In-depth understanding of ACC contracts and vocational rehabilitation pathways
– Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
– Excellent communication, time management, and team collaboration skills
– Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) are advantageous
